I think it's gonna be a long year the rest of the way out for the Huskers...  I don't see them winning a bunch of games in the Big 12.  At least we have Husker baseball and the spring game to look forward too  Grin

Are they even any good?

I really don't know why they have a basketball team, just close it down, save the money.

I wish them well, but I'm not really into college basketball...

They haven't looked good the couple of times I have seen them play.  Poor all around, even from the free throw line, the one game against UMBC that I watch part of they were shooting like 33% from the line and lost by 2...

Their record is pretty decent though... 12-4 (2-1 in conference play), which is surprising, guess I haven't been paying close enough attention...

They are about to hit a tough spot in their schedule.  Oklahoma will molest them tonight with no size on Nebraska's team.  Even if they decide to start Diaz, he is in no condition to be playing an entire game.  Griffin is going to destroy Nebraska.  This is not going to be a fun game.

Anybody watch the Huskers play in the first round of the Big 12 tourney against Baylor yesterday?  I watched about 5 minutes and they looked as awful as ever....

They really need someone that can shoot.  Their shooting percentage is terrible.

I'm guessing he wants out of here too...  can't say that I blame him, I don't see the Huskers ever being much of a powerhouse in basketball.
